What materials are acceptable?

Rubbish Works will dispose of most non-hazardous materials such as construction debris, demolition or renovation debris, green yard debris, household debris, furniture, scrap metal etc...

Note: We can also make special arrangements with our on-demand service to ensure the proper disposal for items such as, kitchen appliances, refrigerators/freezers, televisions, computers, and tires.

What material are unacceptable?

We cannot take hazardous materials such as chemicals, gasoline, oils, solvents, car batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, or any type of toxic or biological waste.

Note: We can also make special arrangements with our on-demand service to ensure the proper disposal for items such as, kitchen appliances, refrigerators/freezers, televisions, computers, and tires.

What payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or company or personal check.

How much can you take?

Our containers have a loading capacity of 5 to 20 yards.

How high can I load the dumpster?

We ask that you load your materials only to the top of the wall edge. If overloading occurs, additional charges may be assessed, as per our rental contract. If the materials are loaded to an unsafe level, the bin will be unloaded accordingly.

Can I move the dumpster?

No. Any damage that is not normal wear and tear will be the responsibility of the client. For a reasonable fee, we will move the bin if it is required.

How much notice do you require when I want to rent a bin?

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. We can often supply a bin on the same day that you call, or on the following day. We will also hold a bin for you for a specific date within a reasonable time frame.

How do you charge?

The pricing for our services is dependant upon the size of bin required, the type of materials, driving distance, and the volume and weight of material as determined by the appropriate transfer station. Please contact us for detailed rates.

What happens if I need the bin for a longer period of time than I originally thought?

Hello! My name is John Davies and I am a proud owner of a Rubbish Works Franchise. I live in Bothell, WA with my wife Kjirsten and two children Emerson, Sawyer and our black lab Sammy. My territory includes the Redmond, Kirkland, Woodinville area and parts of Bothell, Kenmore and Sammamish. Before launching Rubbish I was a boat dealer for MasterCraft, Centurion and Four Winns boats. Unfortunately, as the Owner/Manager in a retail store, I found myself enjoying less time on the water and more time inside behind a desk. When we had kids I wanted to spend more time with my family, get back outside, but still earn the level of income I was used to. Ultimately, that is what attracted me to the Rubbish Works business model.

My life has definitely changed for the better. I work out of my home and control my own schedule. For the most part, the marketing is done for me and all appointments are made through the centralized call center. Each day I simply sign on to my email and receive that day’s list of pre-scheduled jobs. I meet with my crew every morning to kick them off and then concentrate on expanding the business by networking and focus driven promotions and advertising. The infrastructure provided is solid - from professionally designed marketing pieces, award winning website design, brand recognition, pricing structure, and uniforms, to behind the scenes automation like on-line scheduling, invoicing and contact management programs all designed to make me successful while allowing me precious time with my family.

Don’t get me wrong, owning your own business is challenging, but the uniqueness of what I do doesn’t require a hard sell. The customer simply uses my service when they need it. I simply provide them with the information so they can access my expertise – removing rubbish!
